Is it really free?
Yes, for static codes. They cost nothing, need no account and never expire. You only need Premium if you want to change the code after making it, or track scans.
What is the difference between static and dynamic codes?
A static code has the information stored in the pattern itself, and it cannot be changed. A dynamic code points to a short address you control, so you can swap the destination without reprinting.
Who is behind QR-kode.no?
QR-kode.no is developed and operated by Mementor. Static codes are free, and Premium is available at qr-kode.no. If you are a customer of ours, Premium is included in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Can I add my own logo?
Yes. You choose colours, pattern, frame and logo, so the code matches your brand instead of looking like everyone else’s.
Do my codes expire?
Static codes never expire. Dynamic codes live as long as the subscription does. You can also set an expiry date deliberately, for a campaign for instance.
Which file formats can I download?
The free version gives PNG. Premium adds JPG, SVG and EPS in high resolution, which is what you need for print.
