What Did Mementor Do for Stas Artist?

Mementor rebuilt stasartist.no from scratch as a Laravel application with a custom control panel. It holds more than 50 artist profiles, a tour schedule with Facebook integration, a booking system that routes each request automatically, and an online store with card payments, in Norwegian Bokmål, Nynorsk and English.

Stas edits all content themselves, with no developer involved. The result is not a website the agency publishes on, but the tool they run the agency from.

About the Client

Stas Artist is a Norwegian artist agency that books comedians, musicians and other performing artists. The agency represents more than 50 artists and produces its own shows across Norway.

The website is the shop window for the organizers who book, and at the same time the tool the agency works in every day.

The Challenge

The old WordPress site could not keep up with the agency. Content was locked down, so every change needed a developer. The tour schedule really lived in Facebook events and had to be kept in two places. Every booking request landed in the same inbox, no matter which artist the customer asked about.

The agency also had no idea which artists people actually looked at. On top of that, the old English URL structure had to survive the move, or search visibility would have been lost.

The Solution

Eight Deliveries That Work Together

Each part solves a concrete need at Stas. Together they turn the website into the tool the agency runs the business from.

01

A Design System Built for Reuse

We drew a new design built as a tight system: full-bleed hero, fixed grids and identical cards across page types. A new artist or production looks right straight away, with no design work. 76 percent of users come from mobile, so every pattern behaves the same on touch and mouse.

  • Mobile first

02

A Custom Control Panel in Laravel and Filament

Stas edits artists, pages, menus and campaign pages themselves, without asking for help. Content has states for draft, review and scheduled publishing. Unpublished pages can be shared with a signed preview link that lasts 30 days.

03

A Booking System That Routes Itself

If a customer asks about a particular comedian, the request goes straight to the agent who handles that comedian. The system picks the recipient automatically and stores every request, so the agency can see demand patterns over time.

  • Automatic routing
  • Request history

04

Artist Statistics the Agency Sells With

Every view of an artist profile is logged, and the control panel ranks artists by views for a chosen period. The agency can show its artists concrete numbers on the attention their profile gets, something competitors do not really offer.

05

Tour Schedule With Facebook Integration

A show playing in ten places is one show with ten dates, not ten duplicates. The calendar merges the agency's own shows with events from Facebook. Everything is cached, so downtime at Facebook never takes the schedule down.

An Online Store With Card Payments

Product pages with variants, a cart, and a checkout that takes card payments in Norwegian kroner through Stripe. Payment status is confirmed by Stripe with signature validation, not by the browser. The control panel has its own report page with revenue, average order value and best sellers.

Three Languages With AI Translation

Content exists in Norwegian Bokmål, Nynorsk and English. In the control panel, a translate button fills in the other languages automatically across 13 forms. Show titles are left alone, because they are proper names.

SEO Built In From the Start

Structured data on nine page types, a dynamic sitemap and canonical URLs on every page. The entire old English URL structure sends a 301 to the right new address, so the move cost no visibility. New users from organic search rose 199 percent in the first seven months.

    Mapping

We went through the content, the workflow and what Stas had to be able to run themselves day to day.

  2. 02

    Design and Structure

We built a design system with fixed patterns, so new content looks right without design work.

  4. 04

    Launch and Beyond

We launched with a complete redirect map from the old site, and keep developing the solution month by month.
