New Design and Registration System for IoPT Norge
IoPT Norge had a website with many years of content and course administration that was largely handled by hand. We gave them a new design, gathered every course format in one system and moved registration and payment onto the website.

In Short
Mementor redesigned iopt.no for IoPT Norge, Institutt for Traumearbeid. The website is built in WordPress, with WooCommerce as the online store for books and materials.
Every course format sits in one system, from single evenings to advanced trainings that run for one and a half to two years. Participants register and pay by card on the website. The entire website exists in Norwegian and English without the content being maintained twice.
About the Client
IoPT Norge, Institutt for Traumearbeid, is based in Oslo and is a professional community for trauma therapy built on Franz Ruppert's identity-oriented psychotrauma theory (IoPT), with the intention method as its way of working.
They offer basic training, further training toward certification, international further training and an annual IoPT conference, plus weekend courses, seminars, intensives and information evenings. They also provide individual therapy and group work, and publish their own books and materials.
The content on the website goes back to 2016. New participants find the courses there, and the team administers registrations, payment and content there.
The Challenge
The website had been given new content every year since 2016. The design had aged, and the content sat in a structure the employees could not change themselves.
The courses span from single evenings and weekend courses to advanced trainings that run for one and a half to two years, digital and in person, in Norway and abroad. They could not be presented in the same system.
IoPT Norge handled registration and payment outside the website, with manual follow-up per participant, and maintained the two language versions separately.
The Solution
Five Deliveries That Work Together
The course overview, registration and payment use the same data, and the design and language versions live in the same structure. That is why the redesign changes how the team works.
New Design and New Structure
Course pages, articles, store and information pages now share one consistent visual identity. Content from many years has been cleaned up and placed in a structure with room for new courses and pages.
The team builds the pages themselves. They do not need a developer to add a section, move content or create a new page.
Courses and Events in One System
Every format sits in the same overview. Single evenings appear next to weekend courses and the training programs that run over a long period, both digital and in person.
Each course date has its own practical information, so the participant sees whether that particular date is digital or on site, and what applies. The team publishes and edits courses themselves in a simplified admin area, and have a running overview of registrations.
Registration and Payment on the Website
The participant registers and pays by card in the same flow. The confirmation is sent automatically.
Books and materials are sold in a separate online store on the same website. What used to require manual follow-up per participant now happens on its own.
Norwegian and English on One Website
The entire website exists in Norwegian and English, and the employees avoid updating the same content in two places.
Forms and registration follow the language the visitor is using. Courses held abroad can be presented to an international audience without a separate website.
Email and Follow-Up That Run on Their Own
The team sends newsletters, confirmations and follow-up after registration from the same place as the rest of the website.
All contacts live in one place instead of in spreadsheets. They no longer move information between systems to reach the people who signed up.
How We Worked
Four steps, from mapping to ongoing operations.
-
01
Mapping
We went through all existing content and how the courses were actually administered in practice.
-
02
Design and Structure
We settled the new visual identity and the new information structure before development started.
-
03
Development and Testing
Building, moving many years of content, and testing registration and payment.
-
04
Launch and Beyond
Launch, training of the employees, and ongoing operations and further development through the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
What Has Changed Day to Day
The website has become the tool the organization runs on, not just presents itself with.
Registration and payment without manual work
The participant completes it on the website, and the confirmation is sent automatically.
The team publishes and edits courses themselves
They put a new course or a new date live the same day, without ordering the change from us.
Every course format in the same overview
The longest advanced trainings stand side by side with weekend courses and single evenings.
Norwegian and English updated together
The employees update the content in one place, and both language versions follow.
Participants find information for their date
Practical information sits on each date, with format and venue for that particular session.
Books are sold in a separate online store
Participants and others buy books and materials directly on the website, with card payment.
